Dr. Prabir Basu is highly regarded as a Urologist in Kolkata. He passed his MBBS and MS (Urology) from the University of Calcutta, and his DNB (Urology/Genito-Urinary Surgery) from National Board of Examination, Government of India. Furthermore, he attained MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and Fellowship in Uro Oncology from Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata. Always a meritorious student, he won Honors in Biochemistry (1997), Honors in Opthalmology & Otolaryngyology (2000) and Order of Merit for first position in MS (General Surgery, Finals) from Calcutta University. His professional career has involved varied roles, as Associate Consultant at Fortis Kidney Hospital, as Chief Consultant at R G Stone Urology/Kothari Hospital and his present designation as Consultant at Narayana Multispeciality Hospital.
