  • The thesis entitled, "Clinico-Pathological Study of Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding in Peri-Menopausal Age" was accepted for MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) degree in India. In South Cleveland Hospital. Middlesbrough. UK, I was involved with a research project entitled "Antepartum haemorrhage: Does it affect subsequent pregnancy outcome?" I presented this work as poster at perinatology conference in Croatia in 1998. At present, I am very much involved with departmental audits.
  • Participated in the clinical teaching programmes for undergraduate students and seminars, case presentations and journal clubs for postgraduates at R G Kar Medical College, Calcutta. I was co-ordinator of the teaching programme for the junior doctors at Hartlepool General Hospital and also involved in clinical teaching of medical students from Newcastle and Cardiff University UK. Now, I am involved in post-graduate teaching for DNB (Diplomate National Board) students in our Institution. I am an approved teacher in National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi India.
