Naukasana or the Boat Pose gives extra stability and balance to your body. It stiffens the abdominal muscles and leaves your upper back and shoulders strengthened. Lay down on your back on a mat and keep your feet close to each other. The hands should rest on each side. Draw in a few deep breaths and breathe out while gently lifting your chest and feet above the ground. Stretch the hands towards the feet while your eyes, fingers and toes form a singular long line. Stay till tension is felt in the navel area as your abdominal muscles will start contracting. While exhaling, return to the floor and ease up your body.
