Blinking will surely help reduce the stress on your eyes. Just sit comfortably on a chair with the eyes open. Blink fast around 10-15 times before you shut your eyes close again and relax for 20-25 seconds. During relaxation, focus on your breath. Repeat the exercise four to five times every day. Your head and spine should be erect through the span of this exercise. Also, before you begin, splash cold water into your eyes a few times. Sometimes, we blink less often than we ought to while reading or net surfing. Blinking is a good way to counter the ill effects of long screen/book gazing.
