The symptoms of seasonal allergies range from mild to severe. Some of the signs to watch out for include: • Sneezing • Postnasal drainage • Itchy and watery eyes • Stuffy or runny nose • Itchy ear canals, throat, or sinuses Some of the more uncommon symptoms are: • Wheezing • Coughing • Headache • Shortness of breath A lot of people suffering from seasonal allergies also develop asthma. If a patient has both asthma and hay fever, the seasonal allergies can lead to a severe asthma attack.
