About Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is a kind of sexual dysfunction where ejaculation occurs sooner than the climax of the orgasm. It can have adverse effects on the sex life of a couple. The condition has a high incidence with one out of three men suffering from the condition at some point. However, it doesn’t pose any serious threat unless it’s frequent. Symptoms of this disease include ejaculation a minute after penetration, the inability to delay ejaculation during intercourse, avoidance of sexual intimacy due to endless frustration coming from early ejaculation, and inability to delay ejaculation even in sexual situations like masturbation. While common among men, premature ejaculation can be treated by a urologist or primary care physician. Counseling, medications, sexual techniques or a combination of all these can help delay ejaculation and provide men with a more fulfilling sexual experience.
