im on a pre diabetic diet……avoiding fat, sugar n tkng fiber whole foods like that all things written over on internet……my query ws if it is safe to hv salt in this condition?

Salt intake in prediabetes should be limited. Do not sprinkle extra salt on nuts, chapatis and salads. Avoid ready-made potato chips and other salty snacks. If you like pickle, eat less of it due to its high-salt content. Go for fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meats available in the market and avoid canned products loaded with extra sodium. Fast foods and other foods rich in salt should be restrained from.
