Ovarian cysts are not always life-threatening but they may take a turn for the worse if left untreated. Some signs to watch out for are: • Intense Pelvic Pain: The most common symptom of ovarian cyst is pain in the lower left or right side of the pelvis, near the location of the ovaries. Also, if the pain does not subside and becomes unbearable, it could indicate ovarian torsion. • Bloating: Swelling is a vague symptom but it is often connected to ovarian cysts based on their size. Big cysts often cause bloating and abdominal pain. • Fullness: If you’re feeling full all the time, it could be the ovarian cysts inducing a feeling of heaviness in the abdomen.
