If you’re suffering from pimples and breakouts long after your teenage years, you must look beyond your skin for the source of the troubles. PCOS, for example, is a hormonal disorder that affects women. Apart from menstrual irregularities, PCOS is connected to weight gain, and thinning hair. But what’s interesting here is its connection to acne and pimples. If pimple problems persist past the age of 25, then polycystic ovary syndrome is most likely the cause.
