Hi doctor, I have oily and acne prone skin so I didnt use any moisturiser till now. But now I heard I should use a moisturiser. I know I should go for oil free products but I am not sure what to buy exactly that will be best for my skin. Can you suggest?

You should use a mild oil-free moisturiser even if you have oily and acne prone skin as oily skin needs hydration too. Choose non-comedogenic lotions so they don't clog your pores. Stay away from lotions which contain mineral oil and petroleum as they suffocate your skin, clog pores and cause pimples. Go for oil-free moisturizers with hyaluronic acid as they are both lightweight and hydrating. While moisturisers that contain alpha hydroxy acids, retinol, salicylic acid, or other exfoliating ingredients can help reduce acne, take precaution if you are using any topical acne medication. In that case, such products can cause irritation, peeling and flaking. Consult a dermatologist and he/she will guide you on the best treatment for your condition.
