There is no comprehensive cure available for PCOS, but there are natural home remedies for treating or managing the condition. If you want to ease the symptoms of this disease and bring them under control, include the following foods in your diet: • Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is one of the best PCOS remedies since it lowers insulin production and regulates blood sugar. The lower the insulin, the less the androgen, leading to reduced symptoms of PCOS. • Fish Oil: Fish oil has a positive effect on insulin sensitivity. Studies indicate that raising your omega-3 consumption improved insulin sensitivity by as much as 43 percent. As a result, your body produces less insulin, and leads to less production of androgen. • Flaxseed: Flaxseed is a great natural treatment option for PCOS since it attacks the root cause of the condition. Flaxseed contains high amounts of lignin, a compound that binds to testosterone and promotes its excretion. Thus, the negative effects of hormonal imbalance do not affect PCOS patients as much.
