dear doctor, we r a Gujarati family. I n my wife want to lose weight but its difficult to totally shift to eating all green veggies n plain chappatis only whole day. Pl suggest a weight loss diet plan with at least some Gujarati items.

But do keep in mind the thumb rules that apply to every diet – portion cutting, plenty of water and cutting down fat from diet. Replace the regular refined oil with mustard oil, coconut oil, olive oil and peanut butter.
