drink milk is ok in gestational diabetes? I read indian food diets plan for this disease but nowhr talks abt milk n dahi?

Dairy products contain nutrients like protein, calcium, phosphorus etc. in abundance. You can have them but it would be better to opt for the non-fat or low-fat varieties. Consume skimmed milk and low/non-fat yogurt without added sugar or artificial sweeteners. Also, drink one cup milk at a time as more than this at one time can elevate your blood glucose level. Cheese can as well be had in gestational diabetes.
