Chair pose or Kursiasana is an intensely powerful pose for any Yoga practitioner. It strengthens your leg and arm muscles and gives a boost of vigor to the whole of your system. Willpower improves and you feel refreshed after performing it. Stand straight with slight gap between the feet. Without bending the elbows, stretch your arms. Breathe in and bend your knees such that the pelvis goes downwards as if you’re seated on a chair. Hands should be parallel to the floor and the back erect. Breathe a few times deeply. Now, bend slowly without letting the knees go beyond your toes.
