No treatment is available to make a woman’s ovaries begin working again. In some cases, the ovaries begin to work again spontaneously without any known reasons. Women with early menopause suffer from long period of postmenopausal life, which results in increased risk of health issues like early onset heart disease and osteoporosis. Some type of hormone therapy is recommended until they reach the normal age of menopause, which is roughly 51 years old.
