A few of the common signs and symptoms in children include: • Shortness of breath • Tightness in the chest or congestion • A wheezing or whistling sound whenever the person breathes out • Incessant coughing that gets worse whenever the kid has a viral infection, or the child is asleep If left untreated, childhood asthma could lead to other health problems like delayed recovery, bronchitis or bouts of coughing.
