Dr. Choudhury is a consultant psychiatrist with Ayursundra. After finishing her MD in Psychiatry at Guwahati Medical College (GMC), Dr. Choudhury worked at the department of neurology at GMC for a year. A life fellow of the Indian Psychiatric Society, Dr. Choudhury worked at Down Town Hospital (Guwahati) as a consultant psychiatrist before she joined Ayursundra in 2011. At Ayursundra, Dr. Choudhury runs the Memory Clinic for the elderly next to her psychiatry practice. Dr. Choudhury has a special interest in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as well as addiction and substance abuse. It is her aim to raise awareness on mental health issues and address the stigmas and myths that surround the people suffering from it.
