Patients no longer need to call up the clinics to book appointments. They are scheduling, cancelling and rescheduling consultations and follow-ups using the CareClues patient app. Pre-specified time-slots for each doctor allow ease of choice and rule out unclarity and the possibility of overlaps. Reduced phone calls at the clinics has also freed up a lot of time and hassle for front desk executives who now focus better on other operational responsibilities.
Convenient transmission of prescriptions
Physicians at Apollo Clinics are finding it easier to generate and share prescriptions with patients. They need to just upload prescriptions using Command or Medic, and patients can download the same through the patient app.
Better workday planning
With Command and Medic, doctors are able to view their appointment calendar for a particular day across multiple clinics. They can plan their work schedule and reach in time for appointments at different facilities. Doctors can also mark delays and reschedule appointments, and Command updates their patients in real-time.

Command and Medic have allowed Apollo Clinics to make the official switch to digital healthcare management. A great deal of needless paperwork has been eliminated as reflected in Mr. Subrata Mukherjee’s observation, “The call centers are getting calls from the patients for appointments and directly entering patient details in the app.” Additionally, the staff remains well aware of appointment schedules for the entire day and can cancel appointments directly through Command. The software also sends appointment confirmation and cancellation messages to patients instantly.
Shorter wait-time with digital billing
Like appointments, Command has automated the procedures scheduling system at Apollo Clinics. Previously, the front office executives took the longer route of checking booked and available procedures with respective departments. However, with Command in place, the staff can visualize all the procedures along with the free slots, and inform patients faster about the availability of procedures. In effect, this translates to lesser wait-time for patients who can get their bills generated and move ahead for the procedure quickly.
Congestion-free patient queues formation
Tracker’s intelligent Algorithm-based patient queue sequencing has replaced the first-come-first-serve basis for patient check-ins at Apollo Clinics. Patients book appointments online and visit the clinic as per the selected time slot. This auto-sequencing gives patients the impression of a disinterested process at work, without any personal favoring of any patient. Plus, a display mechanism for turns along with the precise wait-time provides a sense of contentment to the waiting patients.

The incorporation is one part but the implementation is another most important part. At any point of time, from anywhere, if I’m not in the center, I can see the real-time scenario of the clinic that how many patients for a particular doctor have come, how many have checked out, how many procedures have been booked. So, I need not enquire anything from the center. I can easily monitor it from anywhere in the country. That is the biggest advantage for the management.
